European Training Courses for youth workers

Over the years, our training courses have explored a variety of topics, including improving access to European mobility opportunities for young people with refugee backgrounds and introducing innovative non-formal education methods such as empowerment through board games and Theatre of the Oppressed.

Since 2024, our focus has shifted towards anti-discrimination, anti-bias education, and social justice. Through our training courses, we support youth and social workers in reflecting on these topics, strengthening their awareness, and developing practical tools for empowerment in their daily work.

A central element of our approach is the power of stories, books, and creative writing. Participants discover carefully selected literature and learn how to use methods inspired by bibliotherapy and poetry therapy in both individual and group settings. These approaches help create meaningful spaces for reflection, dialogue, healing, and social change.

Our training courses also serve as a meeting point for practitioners who are already working with literature, storytelling, and creative expression in educational contexts. Together, we exchange experiences, develop new methods, test them in practice, and further refine them for use in youth and social work across Europe.
